Hoodia and Diet Plans

 - by admin

The diet industry is a multi-billion dollar market which is highly competitive. It is notoriously difficult for a newcomer to enter the market, even if they have a good product, because the competition which is present is already fierce.

Having said that, a critical question must be asked: How is it that Hoodia, a product that was just introduced on the market in 2004, was able to rise above the pack to become one of the most powerful weight loss phenomenons of this decade?

There are a number of reasons for this, and I would like to explain them in detail. One reason why Hoodia has succeeded in the face of other diet plans is because of the diet industry in general.

While the diet industry is indeed very competitive, and worth many billions, it has lost at lot of credibility over the years. Much of this loss in credibility is a result of an industry that focuses more on profits rather than results.

When most consumers fail to lose weight after purchasing weight loss products which were hyped as being good, they are blamed by the company rather than the company taking a second look at their own product. Another reason why many diet plans have failed is because they have expectations which are simply not realistic for the average person.

Perhaps the primary reason why Hoodia has superseded so many other health products is simply because it is natural, and they are synthetic. The fact of the matter is that a natural remedy or weight loss product can always supersede anything that scientists can make inside a lab, simply because it comes from nature, and is largely free of the side effects which are always associated with synthetic products.

Pharmaceutical companies have attached natural supplements for years, but as time goes on, these attacks are becoming less effective.

Another reason why Hoodia is successful is because history shows it to be effective. While most weight loss products may have only been on the market for a few years, Hoodia has been “on the market” for thousands of years.

While it may have only recently been discovered in The United States and Britain, the native peoples of Africa have used it for a very long time. This type of historical credibility is something that simply can never be replicated by any pharmaceutical company, no matter how much they invest in their product.
